The 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment Association is pleased to announce that elections for the Board of Directors will take place at All American Week 2023. This important event is a great opportunity for members of the association to have their voices heard and vote for the future leadership of the organization. The positions up for election this year are Vice-President and Secretary.
The Vice-President is a critical position in the association's leadership structure. The Vice-President is responsible for assisting the President in overseeing the operations of the association. They work closely with the President to develop and execute strategic plans and help to ensure that the association is achieving its goals and objectives. Additionally, the Vice-President presides over meetings in the absence of the President and provides guidance to other members of the Board.
The Secretary is another key position on the Board of Directors. The Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all meetings and proceedings of the association. They ensure that all correspondence and communications are properly recorded and documented. The Secretary is also responsible for maintaining membership records and communicating with members regarding important association business.
These two positions are essential to the smooth and effective operation of the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment Association. The Vice-President and Secretary work closely together and with other members of the Board to ensure that the association is meeting the needs of its members and advancing its mission. The upcoming elections provide an opportunity for members to choose the individuals who will lead the organization in the coming years.
Prosperity of the Association
For our Association to prosper, it's crucial that we try to align the skills of candidates with the needs of the Board and the Association. Namely, the skills described above for the Vice-President and Secretary.
But there are many skills that would be to our benefit that wouldn't require you to be on the Board of Directors. These other skills would place you on a project-based committee. For example, we want to do a fundraiser so it would be beneficial to have someone with experience in marketing, social media, fundraiser planning, corporate relationships for donations, etc. If you are interested in being involved in the growth of the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment Association, please send us an email through our contact form.
Responsibilities of Board Membership
As a board member of our Association, you will have a significant responsibility to maintain and develop the Association. Your contributions will help strengthen our relationships with active-duty and veteran members while enhancing the lives of our cherished paratroopers.
Discussion Prior to Candidacy
Before deciding on a position, it's vital that you have a comprehensive understanding of the associated duties. We highly recommend having a discussion with Mark Banker and David Mayville beforehand.
To be considered for candidacy, complete the candidate questionnaire, and submit it to the nominating committee by May 10, 2023. For any queries regarding board membership, please reach out to us through our contact form on this site.
